Gather pictures of you and your dad over the years and put them into a card or mini album for him to see memories you have shared over the years. Write your thoughts on the opposite side of the picture.
Have each of your grandchildren write a letter to grandpa including a favorite memory about him. Include a picture of the child as well.
Put together a theme book of photos of your husband with each of your children and do a layout or two of each of the children with their dad.
Have each of your children write a letter to their Dad including a favorite memory or the things they like about him, and scrap a page with a picture of them on it. You could even take pictures that have both your husband and child in them.
Put together a small theme book of your dad or husband's life. Include favorite photos, stories, and copies of new clippings etc. Ask other family members to tell you or have them write down a funny memory they have about hour Dad or grandfather.
